School Construction Assistance Program (SCAP)
The School Construction Assistance Program (SCAP) provides funding assistance for facility planning, new construction, and modernizations.
Capital Budget
The Capital Budget is the portion of the state budget dedicated to acquiring and maintaining state buildings, public schools, higher education facilities, public lands, parks and other assets. OSPI submits a biennial budget request for the School Construction Assistance Program and several specialized programs.
Building Condition Assessment (BCA)
A condition assessment of a school building's envelope performance, structural foundation, mechanical systems, as well as other system and system component types to help identify a school district's capital needs.
