Inclement Weather Information
If the OSPI building is closed, it will be announced on KGY 1240 AM or MIXX 96.1 FM. If the building is open, OSPI employees should follow the inclement weather policies established by their department/supervisor. Please review OSPI’s inclement weather guidelines for details on how employees should be compensated for any time lost.
Emergency Notification Procedure
- The Communications Director (Katy) and the Agency Support Manager (Dodie).
- Katy calls local radio/TV stations.
- Katy distributes an email announcement to all employees through GovDelivery. Staff will also receive a text if they have signed up for this option.
- All-agency phone tree begins.
