The Compensation Advisory Committee received proposals and recommendations through April 30, 2022. The Committee is currently reviewing each proposal and recommendation.

Legislation passed in 2021 directs the OSPI to convene a K-12 Basic Education Compensation Advisory Committee to develop recommendations to the Governor and the legislature that supports recruiting and retaining a multicultural and multilingual educator workforce.
The Advisory Committee shall report its recommendations for salary to rebase and compensation adjustments to the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The Superintendent shall make official recommendations to the Governor and the fiscal committees of the legislature by September 30, 2022.
