Appealing a High School Test Score

Contact Information

Scores may be appealed on any high school assessment being used as a pathway to demonstrate post-secondary career or college readiness. Scores may not be appealed on state assessments in grades 3 through 8.

The score appeal process allows students, parents, and guardians to challenge the technical aspects of a score on any of the state assessments. The Guidelines on Score Appeals outlines the process for appealing high school assessment scores.

Additional information on score appeals is located on the Request to View Your Student’s Test page.
