School improvement is how the state supports districts and schools that have been identified for improvement (e.g., Comprehensive, Targeted, RAD, etc.) by state and federal accountability processes. OSPI provides technical assistance, resources, and support in collaboration with internal and external partners to these identified schools. Schools are identified for three tiers of support, based on need.
For schools identified for Comprehensive Support.
For schools identified for Targeted Supports with three or more student groups and schools identified for English learner progress.
For schools identified for Targeted Support for one or two student groups.
A variety of resources related to needs assessments, school improvement planning, and more.
