Open Doors Youth Reengagement - Best Practices Strategies or Interventions

Using best practices to move from Compliance to Excellence

Reengagement/Open Doors

IMPORTANT DATA COLLECTION REQUIREMENT CHANGE:

Districts are required to report on the student outcomes achieved during each enrollment segment. For example, if a student is enrolled in Program A in September and Program B in March, outcome data is required for each period of time.

A suggested best practice is to run enrollment verification reports quarterly, share with programs and do secondary validation of the enrollment records.

Please refer to WAC 392-700 (Updated Aug. 16 2018) for specific rules regarding operation of an Open Doors Youth Reengagement program.
