Mental Health & High School Curriculum Resource

2017-2018 school year

Project AWARE in collaboration with Prevent-Avert-Respond (PAR) Mental Health Initiative in Pierce County and the Jordan Binion Project is piloting a curriculum resource on mental health for use in junior and high school health classes. Mental Health & High School curriculum resource details and participation requirements.


Who should attend:

Teachers. Especially Health and CTE teachers. This opportunity is open to all schools (Grades 9-12)

Participation requirements:

A 1-day Teacher Training is required. Schools/teachers interested in teaching the curriculum resource must participate in a 1-day, 8 hour Teacher Training. 

Trainers will provide the 1-day Teacher Training starting 2017. We will work to offer clock hours for the 1-day trainings. We will also work to bring a trainer to districts willing to host a 1-day session.
