K-20 Network

Learn, Communicate & Innovate on the K-20 Network
Washington’s K-20 network is a high-speed, high-capacity network that links K-12 school districts, libraries, colleges and universities – across 476 locations in Washington. This powerful network connects educators, students and communities with innovative, affordable programs and services that promote 21st century market skills and life-long learning.

We support network operations for K-12 schools, working closely with our partners in the regional institutional technical units (ITUs). The regional ITUs are located at all nine Educational Service Districts. Each regional ITU is an important technical point-of-contact for educators users taking advantage of the data and video services available on the K-20 network.

New – K-20 Educational Network Rate Sheet, 2009-2010
We bill districts for K-20 data connection quarterly, based on actual use calculated at the 95th %. Capacity does not influence connection cost. Users pay only for network utilization.
