State Testing
Beginning in the 2009-10 school year, two new tests replace the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL):
Measurements of Students Progress (MSP) and the
High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE).

Grade Level Standards & Resources
This Web site provides user-friendly access to the learning standards along with aligned resources. These standards describe in detail what students are expected to know and be able to do in each grade.

iGrants
iGrants is an internet-based system school district staff can use to access a variety of information, including federal and state grant applications, competitive grant request for proposals (RFPs) and end-of-year reports. The site is password-protected. District staff can obtain passwords through their district security managers.

Student Learning Plan
Schools create student learning plans for each student (or groups of students with similar needs) who is unsuccessful in passing the Washington Assessment of Student Learning in any subject. The plans provide an outline of what will be done to help each student meet learning standards.

School Report Card
OSPI’s online report card offers detailed demographic and achievement information about all Washington public schools and school districts.

School Safety Center
The Washington State School Safety Center helps keep students and staff safe in schools. The center helps develop comprehensive safety plans, and assists with issues related to student discipline, truancy, bullying and harassment.

Navigation 101
Navigation 101 is a life skills and planning program for students in grades 6-12. The program provides one-on-one adult support to help students make clear, careful and creative plans for life beyond high school.
