Career and Technical Educator Probationary Certificate

This certificate is for applicants that are employed in a CTE classroom and have yet to qualify for the CTE Initial.

This certificate must be initiated by an employer in Washington through the submission of a district request. Once the district request has been submitted, log into your E-Certification account to submit the application.

 

Requirements

  • The candidate must have substantially completed requirements for the Initial CTE certificate and submit the verification of enrollment Form (4075E-1 or 4075G-1) verifying they have enrolled in a CTE program
  • The candidate and CTE administrator must have a jointly developed Professional Growth Plan (PGP) which has been approved by the local school district CTE program advisory committee
  • The applicant must be recommended by the employing school district

This certificate is valid for two years and may be renewed for an additional two years.
