Helpful Tips

For Those Who Hold A CTE Director Certificate

A career and technical education director certificate authorizes service as a career and technical education (vocational) supervisor, an assistant career and technical education director, or a career and technical education director in Washington school districts or skills centers.

If you hold a FIVE-YEAR CTE DIRECTOR CERTIFICATE you have the option to Renew the FIVE-YEAR CTE Director Certificate (every 5 years)

To Renew a CTE Director, Assist. Director, or Supervisor Certificate
(valid for five years)

Candidate must hold a CTE director, assistant director, or supervisor certificate to renew

Applicant must have 6 quarter credits (or equivalent) of professional education or course work, or equivalent professional experience in CTE supervisory or managerial subjects
