For Those Who Hold A Continuing CTE Certificate

A continuing career and technical educator teacher certificate enables the holder to teach in a career and technical education (vocational) classroom in the specific specialty area listed on the certificate.

If you hold a CONTINUING CTE CERTIFICATE you have the following option:

Candidate must hold a continuing CTE teaching certificate to renew

Complete, since the issuance of the MOST RECENT continuing CTE teaching certificate, one of the following:

• Six (6) quarter hours or sixty (60) clock hours of CTE training in the subject matter certified to teach;
  OR
  
• Three (3) quarter hours or thirty (30) clock hours of CTE teacher training in the subject matter certified to teach and three (3) quarter hours or thirty (30) clock hours of technical education/upgrading;
  OR
  
• Three (3) quarter hours or thirty ( 30) clock hours of CTE teacher training in the subject matter certified to teach and three hundred (300) hours of occupational experience
