Assessment Toolkits

The Classroom-Based Assessment Toolkits contain curriculum alignment materials, instructional models, and activities designed to assist educators in aligning their curriculum, instruction, and assessment in all content areas with Washington State's Essential Academic Learning Requirements. Included are examples of student work in reading, writing, and mathematics that demonstrate levels of performance on classroom-based assessment tasks. Each of the instructional models are designed with teacher directions and student masters, so buildings and districts can use the models for implementation through professional development.
