    Important! WAAS-Portfolio Program Date Change

    OSPI has changed the scheduled pick-up/ship date from districts for the Spring 2010 WAAS-Portfolios. To align with other associated scoring activities of the assessment program, the completed WAAS-Portfolio Binders will be picked-up to ship for spring scoring on March 22, 2010 instead of March 26.

     


    2009-2010 WAAS-Portfolios - Principal and District Level Administrators trainings. Principals and other administrators will learn how they can support teachers in compiling the 2009-2010 WAAS-Portfolios.

      Districts will also have the opportunity to request personal assistance from the WAAS-Portfolio Alternate Assessment TOSA, Margaret Nerison. The purpose of the work sessions is to build on the information teachers have already gleaned from the videos and to offer guided practice and teacher collaboration opportunities for student portfolios already in development.
