Title I

2011-2012 Supplemental Educational Services
Approved Provider List

The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 enables parents to select supplemental educational services for their children from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s (OSPI) approved provider list. Supplemental Educational Services (SES) are tutoring or other supplemental academic enrichment activities beyond the regular school day. Services are to be of high quality, research-based, and designed to improve the students' academic achievement. Eligible students are those (1) not meeting OSPI standards in reading and/or math and (2) from low-income families.

SES providers were approved by OSPI in July 2011. Contact providers for more information about their services. Pursuant to OSPI action, "the approval of these providers is provisional for one year at which time an evaluation shall be made of each provider’s success in improving the academic achievement of students."
