Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004,
OSPI is required to submit a six-year state performance plan (SPP) to the Office
of Special Education Programs (OSEP). The plan incorporates performance
indicators (provided by OSEP) and activities and targets for each indicator. In
addition, OSPI must report annually on Washington State's progress for each of
those performance indicators and must report publicly each district's progress
for indicators 1-14. The district level data for those 14 performance indicators
are provided in the District Profiles.
