District Funding Assistance Percentages

The funding assistance percentage is the percentage of the recognized project costs that will be paid for by the state as determined by the formula set forth in law. The percentage varies by the local district’s ability to raise funds measured in terms of assessed value per student. A district’s funding assistance percentage applies to a calendar year.
