2024-25 Preliminary Poverty Information

This file provides the preliminary poverty information for 2024-25 LAP and High Poverty LAP funding. The data used to compile this information was a October 2, 2023 CEDARS extract pulled on March 15, 2024. This file will become FINAL based on a CEDARS extract pulled on March 31, 2024.

This Question and Answer provides more information on the K-3 Class Size compliance calculation for the 2023-24 school year. The last day to submit the Smartsheet to report supplemental teacher is June 17, 2024. 

2023-24 PSES Staff Compliance Q&A

This Question and Answer provides more information on the Physical, Social, and Emotional Support (PSES) compliance calculation for the 2023-24 school year. The last day to submit the Smartsheet to report supplemental and contracted staff not included in the S275 report is June 17, 2024.

Transportation Safety Net Funding Allocations for 2024

The 2023-25 Biennial Budget provides $13 million for fiscal year 2024 for Transportation Safety Net funding to school districts with a demonstrated need for additional transportation funding for special passengers. Transportation Safety Net awards shall only be provided when a school district’s allowable transportation expenditures attributable to serving special passengers exceeds the amount allocated and any excess transportation costs reimbursed by federal, state, tribal, or local child welfare agencies.

Final 2024 Transportation Safety Net fund allocations have been determined.
