Reading Learning Standards
The Grade Level Expectations (GLEs) provide specific learning standards for students in grades K-10, clarifying the skills and strategies all students need to demonstrate proficiency in each content area. This document provides all educators, parents, and community members access to essential academic learning requirements (EALRs) to ensure all students achieve reading success. Teachers can use the grade level expectations GLEs with Evidence of Learning statements as starting points to design instruction and to guide ongoing classroom-based formative and summative assessments.
