Common School Manual 2010

On-line Resources

The Common School Manual 2010 will be available on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 to purchase from the Washington State Department of Printing. The publication contains the Revised Codes of Washington (RCW) and the Washington Administrative Codes (WAC) that pertain to the administration and operation of Washington’s K-12 schools. Each manual continues to be offered at a cost $45.00 plus sales tax. All manuals will be shipped within 2 business days after receipt of your order.

TO ORDER:

• Please visit http://www.prt.wa.gov and click on General Store. To register, you will need to click on I'm New.
• Please enter your user name (email address or name) and your desired password (twice).
• This will bring you to the Store Lobby. You may choose to shop by either agency or item type. Please choose agency. Locate Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and click its link.
• Then choose the appropriate item by selecting its link.
• Once at the item page, click Add to Cart.
• This will display your shopping cart. If you would like to change the quantity, please do so by clicking in the box and typing the correct number and clicking Update Cart. This is very important to remember.
• Once finished, click Total, this will bring you to the Shipping Information page. On the First Name line, enter the office name. On the Last Name line, enter the first and last name. Enter the address and the telephone number. Click Total.
• This will then ask you for the contact information. Please enter the contact name, address and phone number, credit card number, type, and expiration date.
• Click Continue. A few seconds later, you will see a confirmation page. Please print for your records.
• Your order will be processed, picked, packaged and shipped within two business days.
