Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee's task is to gather data related to children of incarcerated parents, identify programs to serve their needs, and to eliminate policy (and other) barriers that prevent a child from receiving support.

This report provides an update on activities and progress of the Children and Families of Incarcerated Parents Advisory Committee and presents recommendations for state agencies. The Children and Families of Incarcerated Parents Advisory Committee recommends that the Governor and Legislature consider these improvements to policies, services, and data collection for children and families of incarcerated parents in Washington.
