  • Preparing for a Successful CPR Monitoring Visit: McKinney-Vento - This webinar provides an overview of the implementation requirements for local McKinney-Vento (Homeless Education) Programs in Washington State. By following the compliance monitoring checklist, the webinar provides an item-by-item description of the elements to be reviewed by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction during a compliance monitoring visit. While the webinar will be of particular use to those districts being monitored this year, the information is important for all local education agencies to clarify the basic requirements of the McKinney-Vento Act, and the development of high quality programs and support systems for children and youth experiencing homelessness.
