Assessment Guidelines
Even Start assessment requirements include:
- Universal Screening for adults and children, developmental screening for children
- Outcome Assessment (pre and post)
- Adults; Casas (Reading, Math), PEP Scales I, II, III (Parenting)
- Children/Infant/Toddler 0-2.11; Teacher selected or IDGI Communication
- Children/Preschool 3-4.11; PPVT III, and/or TVIP for ELL, pre and post with 6 month interval, and IGDI: Get It Got it Go
- Children/Entering Kindergarten ;4 years by August 31 the year before Kindergarten entry; PPVT III and/or TVIP for ELL, pre and post with 6 month interval, and PALS Pre K Alphabet Upper Case (number of letters per child)
- Additional outcome assessment required for other indicators
- Program Quality Assessment
