The project summary includes the leads, goals, and description, the EPA priorities, and the project evaluation.

Environmental & Sustainability Enhanced Lessons
As part of the EPA Grant, OSPI and Washington State Leadership and Assistance for Science Education reform (LASER) upgraded three commonly used elementary science instructional materials with environmental and sustainability concepts. In addition, the upgraded lessons incorporate Native American stories related to science and sustainability.

Green Sustainable Design and Technology Course
As part of the EPA Grant, OSPI and partners are providing support for the CTE Green Sustainable Design and Technology Course.

Early Learning STEM Lessons
Through a grant from the Boeing Company, OSPI partnered with the Bremerton School District to develop Early Learning STEM lessons based on currently used storybooks. As part of the EPA grant, an aspect of the Early Learning STEM lessons is an outdoor environmental component. Downloadable lessons and a feedback form are now available.
