Schedule
The instructional staff at Evergreen Heights maintains a tight, rigorous master schedule of whole-group and small-group teaching and learning.
Two Constant Blocks of Instructional Time
- 45-minute blocks of time for whole group core reading and math instruction — all grade levels
- 30-45 minute blocks for math and reading intervention/enrichment activities in smaller groups that address specific concepts, often at the individual level
The instruction team also sets aside a block of time each week to plan and collaborate on teaching and assessments strategies, intervention programming and enrichment activities. Take a look at the Master Intervention Schedule.
