iTunes U for Network Administrators

Apple has integrated parental, enterprise and education controls into iTunes U, which give system administrators the ability to restrict access to specific kinds of content.

Network-Level Macintosh Operating Systems
Manage iTunes 8.1 controls for Macintosh computers — Mac OS X 10.5, Mac OS X 10.6, Mac OS X Server 10.5, Mac OS X Server 10.6, Managed Client, iTunes 10 for Mac, iTunes 8 for Mac, iTunes 9 for Mac.

Manage iTunes 7.1 controls for Mac OS Server v10.4 or earlier.

Network-Level Windows Operating Systems
Manage iTunes controls. To set these controls, you must make changes to the Windows registry using Registry Editor. Even if you are comfortable editing the registry, we highly recommend that you make a backup of the registry first.

Machine-Level Controls
Use the parental controls at the computer level to restrict the display of explicit content within the iTunes store. You can also disable podcasts, radio content and the delivery of shared music to each machine so that this content does not appear on the left side of the iTunes window.
