Technology Proficiencies of Certified Administrators, Teachers & Teacher-Librarians
Many districts make the decision to measure the technological proficiencies
of certified administrators, teachers and teacher-librarians. We provide a comprehensive, state-developed framework that benchmarks skills
and expectations at the basic and proficient levels.
We encourage you to use this state-developed framework that benchmarks
skills and expectations at the basic and proficient levels.
The key assumption is simple – those who lead our classrooms must be
proficient users of digital technologies as well as highly capable
technology integrators whose instructional practice is compatible with a
student-centered, project-oriented learning environment. Drawn up as “skills
and expectations”, each matrix addresses one of six important skill sets
within the context of teaching and learning.
