Grants - PD & Technology
Competitive
- TL21 - Teaching & Learning in the 21st Century. We are forced to discontinue any further activities with the TL21 program. Federal budget cuts have eliminated the funding for Cohort 2, Year 2 trainees, and for recent grant awardees (Cohort 3) who would have begun their training in the 2011-12 school year.
- CenturyLink/OSPI Teachers & Technology
Ideal for educators who are creative technology integrators and who want to take their instructional practice to the next level.
New Partnership for PD — Title II Part A + Educational Technology
This summer, 73 teachers from rural districts across Washington signed up for a unique professional development experience. Dubbed
Empowering Rural Educators, (ERE), the program pairs the programmatic interests of
Title II Part A (to make sure all teachers and principals are highly qualified) with the strategic goals of OSPI’s
Educational Technology program (to support and enrich instruction with digital technologies).
Fee-based
-
Peer Coaching for Teacher-librarians trains
teacher-librarians to coach classroom teachers. This rich, interactive course emphases effective instruction supported by classroom-based technologies.
- T3 — Teaching Through Technology — develops instructional technology leaders at the building level. Course sessions focus on coaching and technology integration, and deliver ready-to-use training materials that will help T3 teachers work with their peers.
