TL21 Evaluation Reports

Objective, third-party evaluation is critical to the long-term quality of professional development programming. Understanding this, we asked Evaluation Research Associates (ERA) to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and analysis of Teaching & Learning in the 21st Century (TL21). Their work will inform our decision-making and keep the program aligned to what teachers need as they guide and instruct the millennial learner.

ERA will answer these questions over the course of 2009-2011 program cycle:

  • How is TL21 delivered in each Educational Service District (ESD)?
  • How does the training affect the technology literacy of grantees?
  • How does the training affect the instructional practice of grantees?
  • To what extent does TL21 training help teachers to integrate technology into standards-based curriculum?
  • To what extent, and how, does the program provide strategies for sustained changes to teaching practice?
  • To what extent does TL21 training increase student technology use in learning activities?
