Free licenses are available for Washington state K-12 schools keen to use GIS (geographic information system) software for instruction. Esri’s GIS software makes it possible to visualize, question and interpret data in ways that bring relationships, patterns and trends to light. How to Get a Free License Code
Contact your Educational Technology Support Center (ETSC) director to get full information on Esri’s GIS licensing agreement. He or she will set you up with ArcGIS Desktop 10.0 for ArcView, ArcEditor and Arclnfo (Includes ArcGIS Desktop Tutorial Data and ArcReader — on DVD ready for download
