Topic: Integrating Your Title I Schoolwide Plan and Student and School Success Plan Using Indistar.

Staff from OSPI's Title I Office and Student and School Success Office will provide guidance on how school teams can use the Indistar® tool to develop integrate their Student and School Success Action and their Title I Schoolwide Plan. Time will also be provided for questions from the audience. Megan Eliasson and Nate Marciochi from the Office of Student and School Success will also be available to answer technical questions.

Indistar Online Action Planning Tool
We are collaborating with the Center on Innovation and Improvement (CII) to align Washington State's Student and School Success Indicators to the set of research-based indicators on CII's Indistar online action planning tool. Indistar® is a web-based system used by 30+ states across the nation. It can be implemented by district and/or school improvement teams to inform, coach, sustain, track, and report improvement activities.

ESEA Flexibility Request: Background, Highlights of Principles 1 – 3, School Identification, Requirements, & Supports & Services
This webinar was to support superintendents and their principals with Priority, Focus, and Emerging Schools. The webinar includes criteria used to identify each group of schools, (reward, priority, focus, and emerging); review and explain expectations, requirements, and supports and services; and provide guidance and clarify requirements with respect to Title I funding and other available resources; and answer questions. Initial Action Planning Process Webinar
This webinar described the process to create an initial action plan. Examples were offered for “high-leverage” actions and outlined available resources to support an initial action plan.
