Proficiency Index Templates

The Proficiency Index Templates are for calculating proficiency using an alternate method, such as averaging scores across tested grades or years. For example, to average scores for a subgroup across two to three years to see if the average met the annual target.

We recommend the following steps:
Step 1: Select the appropriate template based on a district or school appeal
Step 2: Select which subject area you wish to appeal (mathematics or reading)
Step 3: Select either the two-year or three-year template to average a subgroup across.

All templates are in an .xls format. If you have questions about the templates, please contact Jami Peterson at (360) 725-6170.
