2016 ELPA21 Assessment Applications (PPT)
ELPA21 Testing Administration Time
Mark your calendars and join us for a series of ELPA21 Webinars as Washington makes the transition from the WELPA to the ELPA21 in the 2015–16 school year. We will offer an overview of the features and benefits, accessibility and accommodations, important dates, district support and upcoming trainings. Please note: Only the ELPA21 Annual Assessment will be launching for the 2015-16. Districts will continue to use the WELPA Placement Tests as the initial screener. The ELPA21 screener is in the development phase.
ELPA21 TIDE Training
Recorded TIDE Training

This module will assist users as they navigate and use the student test registration and user management system TIDE. This presentation will cover how to access TIDE, provide an overview of the TIDE interface, and show how to manage users, view student information, and create rosters.
If you have students that participate in other WCAP assessments, including Smarter Balanced, MSP, Off Grade Science, HSPE, or End of Course exams you may already be familiar with these system. Please refer to your District Assessment Coordinator for additional TIDE information.
ELPA21 TDS/ORS Training
Recorded Webinar and PPT
This webinar is housed in the WCAP portal under Test Administration Resources and Modules.
This training module is designed to help Test Coordinators and Test Administrators understand the interface students will use to take the online ELPA21 test within the Test Delivery System. It will also assist Test Administrators and other school personnel as they navigate the online score reporting system (ORS).
ELPA21 Training Test
Practice and Training Test
The ELPA21 Training Test is a practice tool designed to allow students and Test Administrators (TAs) to interface with the online testing system before taking the ELPA21 assessment. It is intended to help TAs guide students through the assessment, ensuring that students practice using all of the tools and functionality available. All students should have the opportunity to access the Training Test and work their way through the questions. The Training Test may be accessed as many times as needed.
Each webinar will contain new information and will be recorded and posted.
