Technical Assistance Workshops for New Institutions
New institutions must attend training on program requirements prior to
approval of the application. Failure to attend a training workshop will result
in the application not being approved in a timely manner. In addition,
institutions who hire new staff during the fiscal year may want to send them to
one of the program workshops. All workshops are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:00

CACFP Annual Training
Annual training is required for continued participation in Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). At a minimum, the person responsible for oversight of the CACFP must attend. This training is intended for directors and administrators. Monitors are encouraged to attend.
This training is mandatory; the renewal agreement will not be approved until the appropriate person has attended training.

Child Care Centers
The Annual Training Webinar is required for renewal. In order to receive credit
for this training, the sponsor must certify completion using the link below.
2018 CACFP Annual Training for Child Care Centers
If you did not complete the annual training live on August 14, 2018. You must
complete a short form certifying you have completed the webinar in order for you
to complete renewal. Child Nutrition Services will automatically receive
notifications as training is completed.
Adult Care Centers

Civil Rights is an annual requirement for all CACFP sponsors. If you did not attend the live version during Annual Training, you must watch the recorded training and certify your participation.

You must complete a short form to receive credit for your participation in the training. Child Nutrition Services will automatically receive notifications when you submit your certification.
At-risk Afterschool Meals
School Districts offering the At-Risk Afterschool Meals Program must participate in the NSLP Annual Training in order to continue operating the program. One of the sessions during
NSLP Annual Training will be focused on this program.
FY 2019 training occurred at NSLP Annual Training in Ellensburg, WA on August 14 and 15, 2018.
