Mandatory New Meal Pattern Training
This training is intended for those responsible for menu planning in child care settings as well as Head Start, ECEAP, Emergency Shelters, At-Risk Programs, and family day care home sponsors. Training for adult care programs will be provided separately at a later date. School district food service staff who will receive training through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) do not need to attend this training. This training is mandatory for all other institutions.

We are offering 16 different training opportunities in different locations around the state. Please limit registration to no more than two participants per institution as space is limited.

Failure to attend a training workshop will result in the application not being approved in a timely manner. In addition, institutions who hire new staff during the fiscal year may want to send them to one of the program workshops. All workshops are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
