Become a Facilitator
All Washington State National Board candidates have access to facilitators.
Universities, districts, local associations, and ESDs hire facilitators to support candidates through the certification process.
To ensure consistency across the state, facilitators are asked to take
Facilitator Training prior to hosting a cohort group. This three day training
hones facilitation knowledge and skills, provides a deeper understanding of the
revised National Board process, as well as develops skills in working with adult
learners. The cost for this training is $60 per day.
Current Facilitator Training options are:
September 23 - 24, 2016
Location - Puget Sound Area (exact location TBD)
October 8, 2016
Location - WEA Headquarters, Federal Way, WA
June 27 - 29, 2017

Please note that OSPI contracts with the Center for Strengthening the Teaching Profession (CSTP) for our registration process.
