Become a Facilitator

Candidates going through the full candidate process—Take One!, Re-Take, and Renewal candidates—have access to facilitators.

Universities and school districts hire facilitators to support candidates through the certification process. Lists provided below are for 2013-2014 candidate cycle. 2014-2015 lists will be available in early Fall 2014.

Facilitator Training To ensure consistency across the state, facilitators are asked to take Facilitator Training prior to hosting a cohort group. To hone facilitation knowledge and skills, additional specialty trainings are recommended. OSPI offers facilitation professional development.

This workshop provides an opportunity for you to meet with and learn from other NBCTs. Facilitators report that the training has been helpful and we promise you’ll have some fun. If you’re interested in facilitation, please plan to join us!
