CISL Brochure Focuses on Family, School and Community Partnerships

CISL BrochureThe Center for the Improvement of Student Learning has produced a brochure that focuses on the importance of family, school and community partnerships. The brochure is available in nine languages and districts and schools are welcome to distribute it with their logo on the front (see printing instructions below).

Research has shown there is a direct link between student success and family involvement with schools. The CISL brochure gives tips on how families, schools and community organizations can help students succeed. It also provides research on how family involvement is key to closing the achievement gap.

Schools, families and community organizations are encouraged to distribute the brochure by printing it out or posting it to a Website (with a CISL link). For comments, suggestions and questions about the brochure, please email CISL.
