  Closing the Gaps

These pages are not formulated with ANSWERS, but with QUESTIONS, because the answers in each community may be different. These questions are directed specifically to the issues related to students of color and to issues over which we have control – data, quality of educators, family/community engagement with schools, student supports, and transitions. However, they apply as well to other students in vulnerable situations – students in foster care, students who are recent immigrants to the United States, GBLTQ students, and students in danger of dropping out.
