The Center for the Improvement of Student Learning (CISL) provides information to educators, parents and community leaders in order to improve schools and increase student learning.

In addition, CISL develops recommendations for the state Legislature and Superintendent of Public Instruction, and staffs the Achievement Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee.
