The OSPI/AESD Equity and Measures initiative is an example of how OSPI and
the ESDs are working collaboratively to implement sustainable decision-making
tools and processes.
The purpose of the initiative is to help districts use
OSPI Performance Indicators to improve equity in student outcomes through the
cycle of inquiry process. The partnership helps build district capacity for data-informed decision making through support for creation, implementation, and evaluation of action plans.
The effort also includes a focus on improving the quality of data collected by districts and reported to OSPI by increasing data completeness, accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
