BEST Spring Symposium 2018 - Equity in Action

Teams of up to 5 members from BEST grantee districts/consortia will gather to examine data, deepen thinking around the Standards for Induction, share practices, and create their plans for the coming year. NOTE: You must be a part of your district's designated team to attend this day.

About our speaker: Robin DiAngelo currently serves as a Lecturer at the University of Washington. Her work on White Fragility has been featured in Salon, NPR, Slate, Alternet, the Atlantic, The New York Times, and The Seattle Times. A consultant and trainer for over 20 years on issues of racial and social justice, she was appointed to co-design the City of Seattle's Race and Social Justice Initiative Anti-Racism training (with Darlene Flynn).
