The WAAS-Portfolio is designed for a small percentage of the total school population for whom traditional assessments, even with accommodations, are not an appropriate measure of progress.

2011-12 Materials

• 2011-12 Extensions—Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science Extensions all posted by content area. Grade-band reading passages are included in the reading content area.
• 2011-12 Teachers’ Guide—A teacher’s manual that explains the processes and procedures for developing a WAAS-Portfolio.
• ProFileTM—This site will be available by November 10, 2011. An online system for populating the required forms for the WAAS-Portfolio.
